Hello all,

I have a quick question about the Red Sonja #1 Foil Incentive that was sent to retailers who ordered multiples of the recent Red Sonja statue.

Originally, the incentive that I saw listed was a Red Foil version of Paolo Rivera's cover for issue number 1 which the statue was based on.

However, recently on eBay I have seen several people list a Gold Foil version of Neal Adams cover to Red Sonja #3 as the "Statue Incentive".

Can anyone please elaborate on if there was ever a Red Foil version of Rivera's cover to #1?
I want to put together a cover gallery for all the variations that Dynamite publishes, and this would help me a lot.

Righto - here is a reply I just got back from Joe Rybandt:


The statue incentive was the Rivera Foil, the Neal Adams foil was an extra incentive, unannounced, for retailers...

It does seem kinda strange, doesn't it? I notice that guy has a few other wierd sales up as well. For example, he has the $0.25 Greg Land Red Sonja #0 (http://cgi.ebay.com/RED-SONJA-0-GREG-LAND-VARIANT-COVER_W0QQitemZ6630572281QQcategoryZ32758QQtcZphot oQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) advertised for $4.99, when it is available from the store here (http://www.dynamiteentertainment.com/htmlfiles/p-C102977.html) still at its original issue price of $0.25. :confused:
