Red Sonja Vol. 1 TPB question [Archive]

Hello, new here. I wanted to ask this question but could not find any answers for it so I decided to come here. I was about to get into Red Sonja, the series out right now, but I noticed on Amazon.com that there was another a Red Sonja Vol. 1 ISBN 1933305118 that collected 1-5 and issue 0 of the current series I am assuming. Is this correct and if so why is this book not listed on Dynamite's site? Thank you. Also, currently collecting Army of Darkness vs. Re-Animator.

I am pretty sure thats the old Marvel collections.

I haven't seen anything regarding trades for Sonja's new DE series yet!

Actually, I thought that too until I saw the Adventures of Red Sonja Vol. 1 and 2 were actually listed as well. Then they had Red Sonja Vs. Thulsa Doom for pre-order. I really want to see what this item is all about:

No idea how Amazon say it ships in 24 hours as the book isn't out yet , hardcover is due May , and the issues that finish the story haven't been published yet :confused:

Well this is just a paper back of the 1-5 and 0, but I am curious as to how a few places have this book as listed and it came out Sept. 25, 2005 and it has not even come out yet from what I am understanding. Chances are I might just order it with an Adventures of Red Sonja TPB and wait and see. Speaking of the HC, is that definitive going to be an ongoing collection of HC or will that just be the only one and the rest will be just regular paper backs? Thanks.

For that answer I suggest you try to contact DynamicForces/DynamicEntertainment directly via email or phone...

But the SC you mentionned..well...that really is not official since only the HC is officially announced!!

I never read the original Sonja and/or Conan offerings from Marvel. My only experience with them has been via this reprinted collection. I actually got this item quite some time ago, first printing run or otherwise, and as far as I know there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. The colour is fine, it reads well. ;)

Volume 1 is indeed now in its second reprinting according to the Dynamite website, and has been further re-mastered. For more info, you can take a look here:

Not got it but I've heard stories that the colouring wasn't that good - hopefully this one will be better so I might spend some pennies on it myself.

Here is the link to the original pressing on Amazon, where you can see the negative comments. One of my local stores had one, but it was cellophane sealed, so I couldn't see inside. I'm going to wait for a few comments on the new pressing before I buy it.

Classic Volume 2? Don't have an exact ship date, but we're getting there (AND gettign caught up on our trades....)
