View Full Version : Grumble : Wrong dates, a million covers but only 2 comics

I just wanted to indicate my dissatisfaction with the Dynamite Entertainment website.
I have really enjoyed the first two Red Sonja comics that were released but am frustrated by the lack of, or misinformation on the website.
Why are there seven or so cover previews, regularly growing in number, yet the dates for releases are either absent or wildly incorrect?
What's the point of showing off covers four issues ahead if issue 3 is missing in action?
Impatiently,

Everyone I have talked to share the same feelings.
I have no idea why we have to suffer through such delays on all of Dynamites books.
They are damn lucky that their products rock, otherwise they would not be around long thats for sure.
I have faith, and expect things to get better over time.
Hopefully

You're right, they do rock. The art has been exceptional.. so long as the story develops well it'll hold a position of pride in my collection.
My main fear, aside from my grumbles, is that the series will fail to materialise and we'll be left with a legacy of cover artworks and not much else :(
Surely it wouldn't be too troublesome for them to acknowledge the delays and gives some glimmer of insight to the visitors of the website as to when we might see #3.
Not too much for the fans to ask?

:)
I went and "yoink"-ed these from a couple of other threads. I thought they might be useful in here :) :

Responding to Delay's

Faithful Followers of the Flame Hair!
Red Sonja #2 is scheduled to be in comic shops on the 28th of September. #3 should be back on track following that, and moving forward. More information about the delay's to be released in the coming days...
Thanks for reading!

No definitive date as of this writing, the site is being swept for outdated, uh, dates!

From what I can gather, I'm tipping they'll try to have everything back on a more-or-less even keel before long. The delays are a bugger, I know, but I don't reckon there'll be a repeat of what happened earlier this year. Given the amount of life in the series, I'm not thinking it'll flop anytime soon (well I hope it doesn't! Delays aside, so far it kicks arse!). :D

I have made several requests in the past for someone from Dynamite to atleast post here once in a while, but still nothing.
Their problems/delays must be really embarrassing, or they don't care... Either way, I am puzzled.
