Whoa! When did Mary Jane get her own fantasy series!? :p
I don't understand why those people don't all start their own comics. I know lots of people who are amazing artists, but instead of going into comics they decide to make a living washing windows or selling Avon products over the phone. It drives me nuts because I used to be able to draw well but lost the talent after years of inactivity. I can look at something and draw a free-handed copy of it but I forgot all about perspective and scale...now I just draw stick figures :o

Not that my art is amazing or anything, but I have a comic sitting on my shelf that I did a few years ago. My buddy and I created a bunch of characters when we were in high school, and I went ahead and did my own book, just to give some type of life to the characters. That's when I figured out my writing skills suck. I think my story was going pretty well, but my wrap-up was way too cheesey and simple. That may be why more talented artists don't start their own comics.

Understandable, but that's why you find a talented friend to write the stories :D

I know your joking when you posted that, but did you know that there was an old school Marvel Team-up done with Spiderman and Red Sonja? It seems the Spirit of our Red Sonja took over Mary Jane to help Spidey battle.........Kulan Gath in the present. I will have to see if I can find a pic of that issue somewhere, unless Krazyety has it handy. :)

Whoa! When did Mary Jane get her own fantasy series!?
As I understand it, the ol' "Mary-Jane" has been an inspiration for many a hazy fantasy creation over the years... :p

That piece is incrediable- and he got the shoulder armour right, too! Alot of the artists just do it as solid pieces and they're not. It always adds an extra touch to any pic when the artist gets it ALL right!

Actually, the "updated" Sonja has solid armor on her shoulders, the classic sonja has the open design. But yeah, it still alternates depending on the artists vision...

"Updated"? Here, all along, I thought the artists were just not doing their research or were too lazy to do it right. The solid look just doesn't look right.

Yeah, it's nice when women wear it open. A guy's armor doesn't matter as much because they usually just wear a loincloth anyway :p
