Hey, I was wondering if do you think I could review Red Sonja #14? I'm alright with GFX so I could do a decent spread, I'm just hoping to get a call on it before KrAzYeTy does. (Although if he did it it would probably be better than mine, but I still want to give it a shot anyways) =)

Dude, the more reviews the better. :D

I was gonna do one for #14, but I decided to do the LR #1 review instead (for now ;) )

My reviews are nothing special thats for sure, even though they may look kinda cool. But thats not what reviewing is about. Its about the reader expressing his/her personal views on that particilar product.

I would love to read yours (after I actually get to reading #14), and I know DE wants to see more user reviews so get writing :D

Alright man thanks, I just didn't want to do 2 reviews on the same thing, then we'd be in competition with eachother. So this works out just peachy. lol

Guys, definitely go for it with the reviews! These have rocked so far, and it's great to have everyone participating and giving their views on the comics! Personally, I love reading the reviews that people have done here on the forums, and I'm looking forward to seeing more! :D

(Oh - and you're gunna love Sonja #14! Hoo-hoo! Damn this story's building up to something big!! ;) )

Outlaw, where's the image in your sig from?

I thought 14 was so-so. I love the main story and Rubi's work, but in recent issues, between the flashback at the start and Gath's obligatory monologue at the end, it's almost as if all the good stuff's being crowded out.

Seconded. I've been wondering this myself...

That's a good point. I've figured that as it was building toward a climactic finish that they're saving the best until we're a little further down the track...

It may be that elements like these are being dealt with here for the benefit of readers for whom this series is their first experience with the characters. For myself, I like the flashbacks & monlogues, as I know next to nothing about the background of either of the protagonists involved. I saw the old Sonja movie, so I've got kinda a rough (very rough) idea as to the background there, but Kulan Gath I'd never even heard of until a couple of issues ago when he first popped-up here, and I'm enjoying the way at which their stories are unfolding. ;)

It's one of my favorite Red Sonja pics on the net, it's by Ed Benes who is my favorite artist to draw Red Sonja. He just does a killer job at it.

lol Originally I didn't want to share it with you guys because I wanted to be the only one to use it. But I'll share it anyways. Heres the original image. link (http://www.comicartcommunity.com/gallery/data/media/23/red_sonja_em_alta_b.jpeg)

Hey guys my home internet is off for the moment and I wont be able to do the review how I like, so Crazyt it's all yours. =)

#14 was pretty good, although I didn't like how it ended. I do like the art though, Stephen Sadowski's flashback art was ok, Mel Rubi's was killer though. I happend to get Cover A by JG Jones which he did a pretty good job. Although onece again I liked Cover B by Mel Rubi alot better.

Unfortunately, that link provided only seems to go to a Disney portal, so it looks like you may Get Away With It Too, In Spite Of Us Meddlin' Kids. ;)

However, for those who would like to see some more of Ed Benes' phenomenal work, just take a look HERE (http://edbenes.zip.net/)!! (EDIT: Oh, and HERE (http://edbenes.deviantart.com/) too!!!) :D

Hah...I'd like to type up a review but I'm afraid I don't know as much about Sonja as you guys. I still have holes in the storyline, I don't even have #0-2! :p I don't know much about the artists either to properly praise them, heh. Time to hit the books!...
