It may seem a petty complaint, but there it is. I've noticed it before; after reading #60, though, it's just super-apparent. Braun is a pretty good artist, but he can't draw an appropriate-looking beer bottle to save his life. They're so SMALL. They all look like short-necked little baby toys getting squashed in these big, meaty adult hands.

You're right! It's a petty complaint.

I'd think just about any beer bottle would look pretty tiny in MM's hands. Great issue, with a reminder of why I never try to pet wolverines.

We all should keep our priorities straight on this whole art issue.

To wit: Russ Braun draws excellent bajangas. From Annie to Maeve, his sweater puppy sketching skills are superb. I recently compared his titular talents to some other comic greats: Frazetta, Windsor-Smith, Kirby, Perez, Miller, Adams, Muth, Romita, Lee, Byrne and many others. His twin peaks can easily hang with the best of them.

So let's all raise a glass to Braun and, as Dean Martin used to say, "Make mine a double!"

Lets not forget Wally Wood! (Power Girl, Sally Forth, etc.)

On a related subject, if it were remotely possible, (I know Wally died, (sniff)) would anyone go for a Wood/Ennis teamup, particularly in a war story?
