View Full Version : Who's the Mole?

Okay,

We all know that The Boys/CIA have at least one mole inside VA and someone set up the cameras inside The Seven's HQ... The question is who?

Here is my list of suspects and why they are suspects (in no particular order):

A. Black Noir He caught Hughie at Herogasm and never alerted anyone?! Black Noir is either just crazy and has his own agenda or he may be the mole! Plus, he doesn't talk and wears all black which makes him suspicious ;) Of course none of that explains why he had his way with Hughie... Maybe that's why he kept things secret...

B. Queen Maeve She doesn't seem to care about the Seven anymore. Maybe since 9/11 she stays drunk to try to block out her traumatic memories. She is definitely disillusioned with the whole "hero" role. She is no friend of the other members of the Seven, or other "heroes" in general (especially the other women)... Starlight is actually starting to impress her, though...

C. "Flipper" Queen Maeve's obsessive fanboy servant would be perfect as a mole. He has access to the Seven's HQ, and everyone overlooks him. If he was caught doing any strange "spying" type behavior, he could easily explain it away.... "He's obviously just trying to sneak a peek at her or get some collectible item for the shrine he built to worship her in his mother's basement"

D. One of Queen Maeve's Studs These guys come in and out (literally) on a regular basis, and get paid for their services. One of the studs already proved he was easily "compromised" for money because Jack from Jupiter paid him off to... ummm, give him something special that came from Queen Maeve..... (see Herogasm for details)... Wouldn't it be easy for the CIA to put one of these guys on the payroll?

E. The Mole is someone else we don't know about yet.... There must be plenty of people who work on that flying contraption... How much does it cost to keep that thing constantly flying up there?

I've been assuming that it's Flipper. There's no other reason to keep mentioning him. There has to be DOZENS of staff members working on the Seven's "Flying Fortress", but Flipper is the only one that is consistently mentioned.

I agree that Flipper would be perfect as the mole... Even VA guy overlooked his presence... But for the sake of discussion...

All of them (as in any good mystery) are good suspects (or even some of them working together). Even VA guy himself might be covertly helping the mole!! Since VA guy's agenda to get rid of supes was recently revealed, it now makes sense why he seems to be aware the Seven's HQ is bugged and is not concerned enough to have it constantly searched until all bugs/cameras are found... VA guy is usually very thorough...

Okay, I just remembered one thing the Legend said... He said he heard about what happened on the plane on 9/11 "from the horses mouth"... That means either Maeve or Homelander talked to him at some point... (Black Noir was dropped, Jack ran away, Lamplighter and The Deep were never in the plane and Marathon and the passengers didn't survive...)

And what happened to The Legend's feet? How did he get them cut off anyway? Why does he basically seem to live in the basement of that comic shop with his two mafia connected guards/handlers? There's a story there that has not yet been told... But, who knows if it is even related to who the mole is (or moles are)?

my personal theroy is that mallory took black noirs place after he was killed on 9/11 because-
A- it explanes how he "survived" falling 20000 feet
B- why he assalted hugie, an effort to warn him off the team
C- black noir would be easy to impersonate because he cant fly is the only
member of the seven who always wears a mask and never speeks

mallory who would of been injected with compound v and also being a colonel in the USAF would have flight training like the original black noir.

The Lamplighter killed Mallory's granddaughters AFTER 9/11. Black Noir and Mallory are both clearly shown (in the flashback) in the airplane hanger when the Seven (minus Marathon) met with the Boys and handed Lamplighter over to the Boys...

The only apparent reason Black Noir assaulted Hughie is because Black Noir seems to sexually assault several of his "enemies". The two Black Noir "villains" shown in Herogasm were "Caligula" and "f*ckface" (maybe a reference to Two Face?) both looked like they had been recently sexually assaulted and weren't in their right minds.....

There was never any explanation as to why Black Noir didn't let anyone else know about his encounter with Hughie?!... Maybe he thinks others aren't aware of what he does?

Anyway, If Black Noir has his own looney perverted agenda, it hasn't been revealed yet... But, the fact that he is witholding information from the Seven and Vought, makes him a mole suspect, imho...

I find your idea intriguing, but unfortunately, it's highly unlikely. As Ch0c0 pointed out, both BN and Mallory are show together post-9/11, but there's also the incident where BN threatened Annie for refusing to wear her new costume, which hardly seems like something Mallory would do.

Did the cover of The Boys #46 just solve the "mystery" for us?

Looks pretty convincing....

*ding* If you guessed B, YOU'RE a WINNER!!

question answered... But, now, who is Flipper? I still think he may be a CIA plant.... or liason, or "handler" or sumptin....

Black Noir is just a crazy pervert, it seems... He may have been the one holding the camera for some of the Maeve/Homelander leaked photos, though! ;)

Very glad to see this thread revived, in light of the new developments. :)

I never guessed Queen M. Works for me, though.
