Hello SP forum,

I have a few questions for those of you in the loop but first...I got into comics as an adult several years ago after college. I stuck to DH Star Wars books and then moved to Ultimate Marvel SP, Ultimates, X-Men. After being disappointed by the last four months of Ultimate Marvel I started sniffing around the internet, flirting with the idea of breaking out of my box. I came across the Meet the bad guys #1 cover and started looking into SP. So far I've read the BT mini and the Masquerade mini. They were phenominal, and I'm very glad to have broken out of my narrow-sighted view of comics. I have the SP tpb and DDD tpb on order, I should be picking them up tomorrow. I'm very excited about this series, and really love the artwork. I've only read eight issues but hey, great stories none-the-less, I've been able to figure out a lot of whats happened.

My questions:

1) I noticed an issue #1/2, is that included in the SP Chp1 tpb? Is it just a book filled with art, or a story?

2) I bought the $1 prelude to Chp 2, are there any other books in Chp1 tpb or the other minis that I've missed? I guess I'm basically looking for a list of everything SP thats been put out so far.

3) Is there an American Crusader character in SP chp1?

Thanks

The 1/2 is a Wizard exclusive and takes place midway to just after chapter 1. There are hints about possible doings on chapter 2. Check out e bay I'm sure there are a few copies.

I saw one hiding in my comic book store! I'll have to head back for it. + Has anyone put together a timeline yet?

I think the order roughly goes (at least so far as readability is concerned):

Chapter One

'Death Defying Devil

Masquerade

Black Terror

Chapter Two

(and the 1/2 issue seems to fit at the end of Chapter One)

And that's it for now. Welcome to the P:SP Universe!

I'd say the #1/2 goes between #5 and #6 of Chapter 1, personally, although DE says if they collect it it will go with Chapter 2. This is my personal reading order for Chapter 1, based on individual issues:

Project Superpowers #0
Project Superpowers #1
Project Superpowers #2
Project Superpowers #3
Project Superpowers #4
Project Superpowers #5
Project Superpowers #1/2
Project Superpowers #6
Project Superpowers #7
Project Superpowers FCBD08
Black Terror #1
Death-Defying 'Devil #1
Death-Defying 'Devil #2
Death-Defying 'Devil #3
Death-Defying 'Devil #4
Masquerade #1
Masquerade #2
Masquerade #3
Masquerade #4
Black Terror #2
Black Terror #3
Black Terror #4

"Bonus Material"
Preview Issue
Vol. 2 Prelude
Vol. 2 Sketchbook

I feel that the Masquerade series fits better between PSP # 0 and PSP # 1, since it deals with the events leading up to her being sucked into the urn.

When I go to reread everything that I have, it'll be:
PSP 0
Masquerade 1-4
PSP 1-7, 1/2
FCBD 08, DDD 1-4
Black Terror 1-4

Granted, that's not much different than MadMikeyD's list, but I can't see a good reason for breaking-up the BT series with DDD's since 'Devil's series really stands alone with its own story while BT's book bridges the gap between Chapters One & Two.

That's actually why I would break it up. BT #1 picks up right after Chapter 1 #7. At the end of #1 Terror is heading to Washington. I figure then I can break off to the 'Devil series, which is pretty straight forward, then Masquerade, which is like a big flashback sequence that takes us up to the current time. Then I can come back to the Terror's attack on Washington in #2-4 which lead directly into Chapter 2 #0. Maybe not the best reasoning, but that's what I got.

I just read issue 1/2 today, it was good but short. So are all of the Dynamic Forces robots? Or just Mr. and Kid? Also what does FCBD 08 stand for?

Yeah, it stands for "Free Comic Book Day", DE released a free short story in comic book form last year based on the Devil and his feud with the Claw, it was pretty good.
