I was a fan of the 80's-90's Green Hornet book published by Now Comics. I was wondering - since DE is publishing a Lone Ranger title, and the two characters share a family history - if there would be any chance DE would revive this classic character?

There was a Green Hornet book published years ago from NOW comics. It was pretty good, IIRC. Just FYI :D

Which is what the original poster said.
I agree. I am a huge fan of the TV show and the NOW comics. I believe a new Green Hornet would be great. I wonder if they could 'update' the legend?

Not to rule out a Green Hornet comic by Dynamite, because it would be great, I'm sure. But licensing rights to the two characters are owned by different companies. So a deal for one character doesn't give an automatic "in" for the other.
That being said, with the fantastic job Dynamite has done on the Lone Ranger, I'd also like to see them do a Green Hornet comic. Maybe the two characters could then be linked again (if one publisher was handling both characters), since the Hornet's relationship to the Ranger has been greatly downplayed due to the licensing being split.
