According to the Dynamite Calender it's due on the 11th. Diamond also has it listed for the 11th.
Diamond releases a list of what is coming out on the monday before it's due with a tentative list the next week and there is a link at the top of the Dynamite forum page for a calender of releases.

From what I've read she's inspired to become a a hero and investigate the disappearences of other heroes. It sounds like it's going to be a bit of an origin piece combined with background on Yank trapping the heroes in the urn. :)

It's down to ship Feb 11th, along with Jungle Girl #3 and Red Sonja Annual #2. That's not 100% definite, but it's on the Diamond listing and that's usually accurate. Who's getting which cover then? I think I actually want all three...

Mr. Bowland I have all three on my pull list and the Wizard (virgin) exclusive ready to ship at the end of this month....oh yeah and the foil copy as well!

Hell, I just completed my Black Terror # 1 collection / 11 issues.

No willpower, I have no will power!

I'm not normally into buying multiple covers, but I think for Masq #1 I'll have to at least have the Ross and Cho covers... and I'm so tempted to splash out for the Romita one. No willpower here, either!

This is one of the few times I'm doing multiple covers. I'm probably picking up all three. Definitly the Cho and the Romita covers aand probably the Ross. I like the 'cheesecake' feel of the Cho (seeing the top of the stocking) and the Romita is just great (based on MJ's first real app in Spiderman). The Ross has a powerful, stage presence feel to it.

So, did anyone get this yet? How is it?

It was good -- I actually enjoyed it the most of the three P:S spinoffs so far. Basically it's set in the past, and records what seems to be the first meeting between Masquerade and Black Terror, Lama, Pyroman, and Fighting Yank. There's a flashback sequence to her childhood, and I thought the artwork was really strong, and Hester's script was great.

Good read, and definitely recommended.

I read it today, I wont reveal any plot but I don't think it is nearly as good as DDD and Terror's series......yet. It has the ability to go places though in a short timeframe and become an anchor book, but I just love Terror and DDD's series so much right now it's hard for me to look at Masquerade as an equal.

I liked it mainly becasue we got a look at these heroes working as a team before they got locked in the urn.I think the writing was better than the art. Don't get me wrong, the art wasn't really bad, but it wasn't really great either! I liked Daredevil the best so far.

Well the art was by the same guy that did most of the PS v1, right? I enjoyed it, I know it was a kind of hit or miss art style, but I enjoyed it.

I should be getting this tomorrow.

The nearest comic book store is some 50 miles south of here and I only make it that way about once a week. That's why I pre-order from Previews now.

I have been enjoying the PS solo series so much more than the first volume. So far my favorites in order are: 1) The Devil. 2) Masquerade. 3) The Black Terror.

I enjoyed it. I like that it's set in the past and we see the heroes in 'original' form. Im also liked the fashbacks to Masquerade's past. I think was a great issue and set up the rest of the series quite nicely.

I enjoyed the Masquerade #1 as well

I have zero comic book magazine titles in my reserve, except Project Superpowers related; I gave up long ago most cheap comic book magazine format, call it a Queeezada alergy, but Dynamite made me return to comics, and as long as I get collected hardcovers at the end of arc stories, I have no reason to stop

PS: I still have room for one more Project Superpowers related series, about a certain Green Lama

Same here. I read DDD #'s 2 and 3 back to back and they were terrific.

Masquerade was good enough. Didn't blow my mind but if every issue was at that level, I'd be perfectly happy with that.

I do like that they chose to have one of the spinoffs take place in the past. If they continue with this format of going from a Superpowers series to a few limited series, I think they should continue with that method.

I got the Alex Ross one, which was the one I wanted. I seldom have much choicem unfortunately, but often when I only have one option, it happens to be one of the rare ones.

I have been doing the same thing in just getting the Alex Ross covers, I usualy try not to get sucked into getting variant covers, all in all it's just the same issue with a different cover. Problem is, some of the other covers are really nice and may be worth picking up someday, but as for right now I am all about the standard AR covers. I plan on re-reading Masquerade #1 again today, I usualy read a single comic 2 or 3 times before the next issue comes out, and then I will read it one more time right directly before I read the newest issue, it's a comic book tradition for me.

I usually get just one cover. Masquerade #1 was an exception. I got the Ross & Cho covers as well as the Romita. I've been waiting until my LCS has a dollar sale (about 3 times a year) and if I like some of the alternate covers I pick them up then. I did that with the first season of Jungle Girl as well as P:SP. I catalog my comics in Excel with a note as to which cover I have and which I want. Excel's auto fill makes it easier than retyoing each title or Artist etc.

Right now I'm looking at my DE folders, I scan each and every DE title I collect. Going with the SP title and sub-titles I have:

15 Black Terror issues
41 SuperPowers (1) issues
04 SuperPowers (2) issues
21 Death-Defying Daredevil issues
09 Masquerade issues

So I have all issues that have been published.

I'm looking at the High End Foils but the cost is somewhat of an issue.

Hey Ranger. Do you have scans of all the covers? Would love to see them. I'd like to make a collection of the PSP and all mini series variant covers. I have some but I'd love to see what I've missed. Also, what are High End Foils? compared to the regular foil? Thanks.
