No one has done a Max comic before. I'd like to see that.

I'd always pictured it as an oversized B&W book like the old Savage Sword of Conan.

Anyone else?

I gotta admit - this had never even occurred to me and I would love to see it! As long as it were taken-on by a top-notch team, I reckon this would work really well! :D

*Any of you guys ever see the original "Mad Max" ("The Road Warrior", which was actually "Mad Max II", and number 2 in the series, was released in the 'States as number 1)? It rocks - it's one of my all-time favourites!!

I have to agree! A Mad Max series would be interesting...I'd pick it up. The Road Warrior is one of my all-time favorites. As I got older I realized what Tommy said & tracked down Mad Max. Thunderdome was the weakest of the 3 movies, though.

I didn't mind Thunderdome...Max had mellowed that was obvious. After all he couldn't be "Mad" forever.

Besides it had Tina Turner in chain mail. ;)

As an (only?) Aussie here, I admit this would be fun. Mel Gibson has talked about doing a 4th film, though.

Just as long as the movie doesn't have a forty minute flogging scene or long melodramatic screams of "Freedom!", I'll probably go see it. ;)

Heh heh heh! It's cool mate!

I reckon we did really well in the World Cup! Nobody expected us to get so far, and to punch so far above our weight! Each and every team that played against us - some of the best in the world - came away with a bloody nose. Even the Brazilians and Italians could only manage a goal apiece! The Socceroos rock! :D



The Roos wuz robbed! Really bad officiating.

Oh yeh! We copped it from the refs in every game! That English bloke who completely lost control of the Croatia game and let Simunic stay on the field has now retired, and that one who called that penalty against Neill was a turkey! :(
