FOX Jungle Girl movie?

If this rumor is true that FOX will buy Dynamite Comics, I wonder if this means we will see a Jungle Girl movie? (Although one fan calls it Dinosaur Girl.) I bet we will see a new Lone Ranger movie!

"Rumor has it that a division of Fox Entertainment is looking to buy Dynamite Entertainment, the publishing wing of Dynamic Forces. In the new world of purchasing IP, with IDW purchased by IDT, Newsarama purchased by Imaginova, expect a lot more of this sort of thing. When reached for comment, Dynamite commented, but is it really a comment?

When asked for comment, Nick Barrucci replied "Rich, first and foremost, I don't know where this rumor started. Unfortunately, we don't reply to such rumors in case (a) they are true, but we are in a negotiation stage, and cannot discuss, (b) they are not true, but they sound pretty cool and (c) we're the only people who don't know about them, and don't want to sound stupid by responding (does that sound stupid). Sorry, will let you know more once we know more."

I don't know about a Jungle Girl movie, but such a deal wouldn't have any real bearing on a Lone Ranger movie. DE doesn't own the Lone Ranger. Classic Media/Entertainment Rights does, so any LR project has to be done with their approval. Now, a Superpowers movie... :D

Nooooooo...if they buy Dynamite then will they be able to stick their noses into Sonja's world? I don't want FOX to have anything to do with a Sonja movie, I don't want her to be slutty :(

Jungle Girl, I don't know, I haven't read the comic yet :P

If FOX would indeed buy DE/DF then you would be a fool (to quote Mr. T :p ) to actually believe the current licenses would extent beyond the printing of comics in using the characters as depicted in the licenses.

And in the case of Jungle Girl....man...that is even creatorowned by CHO!!

I disagree. I think Cho would accept a reasonable movie offer from FOX for the opportunity to break into movies. Hopefully FOX will be smart enough to let Cho have a creative say in casting Jungle Girl and designing a movie poster. And if FOX is reading-use the first leopard print costume version!

(Of course this is assuming the rumor is true FOX wants to buy Dynamite so they can make movies based on Dynamite characters.)

A Jungle Girl movie should be CGI to truly capture Cho's artstyle on film. Maybe in splash page scenes his inking outline can be around the characters.
Plus his philosophy on making eyes look alive and intelligent can be applied to improving CGI eyes.

Just....at that point it has NOTHING to do with Fox buying DE/DF as you stated.

Then it just is the matter of a moviemaker (MGM, Disney or Fox or HBO or whatever) to contact CHO and not via DE/DF

well...it is NOT Dynamite's character in the first place. It is Cho's all the way!!
